Mission:
1. We will provide an excellent education to every child, in every classroom, every day.
2. With excellent leadership and teaching in every school, we will help children go on to lead successful and happy lives.
3. We will work with others beyond our network to create capacity in the sector to benefit more children and communities.
Ethos:
We promote an ethos of respect, responsibility and resilience and have high expectations of all the school community. Chosen by our whole school community, our three Rs define the expectations of everyone at Lift Four Dwellings Secondary. As a community, we have worked hard and developed these values to discuss how they can be achieved in our daily lives, and what they mean for us.
The three Rs
Our values permeate our school, underpinning all that we do and influencing our attitudes, behaviours, and the work of our team as we inform essential elements of parts of the student experience, including our academic and personal development curricula and our approach to pastoral care.
Respect
Treat people with respect if you want to be respected.
Resilience
All things are difficult before they are easy - show resilience, do not give up.
Responsibility
Accept responsibility for your life. Know that it is you who will get you where you want to go, no one else.
Push the limits
We always strive to push the limits. We don’t settle for less than excellent and we won’t allow our pupils to either. We resolve to overcome any self-imposed limits.
